About the Role
Pertemps Black Country Perms is seeking a Production Fitter to join a growing team in Tipton. This full-time role, paying £12.71 per hour, involves assembling mechanical components and installing hydraulic systems. You will conduct in-line inspections throughout the assembly process to ensure products meet high standards. The working pattern is Monday to Thursday, 07:30 to 16:30, with an early finish on Friday at 12:30. Ideal candidates possess experience with mechanical hydraulics, knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering, and familiarity with air, electrical, and manual tools. A forklift truck license is beneficial but not required.

As a Fitter, you will play a crucial role in assembling components and ensuring that all products meet high-quality standards.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Assemble mechanical components for products.
- Install hydraulics and other mechanical systems.
- Conduct in-line inspections during the assembly process.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience with mechanical hydraulics.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering.
- Familiarity with air, electrical, and manual tools.
- Forklift truck license (beneficial but not essential)
Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
Friday: 07:30 – 12:30 (early finish)
- £12.71 per hour, increasing to £13.50 per hour after a successful trial period
- Monthly shop floor bonus available when production targets are achieved.
