Production Engineering ManagerFareham / Portsmouth Sites 55,000 to 65,000We are recruiting for a Production Engineering Manager to join a specialist manufacturing business producing bespoke industrial cooling and heat exchange equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineering leader to drive continuous improvement across a busy fabrication and assembly environment.The successful candidate will play a key role in improving manufacturability, workflow and production efficiency whilst supporting engineering, fabrication and test teams across the full production process.The roleLead and develop the production engineering functionImprove shop floor workflow, routing and overall efficiencyDrive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activityWork closely with design, fabrication and assembly teams to resolve production issuesSupport new product introduction into manufacturingDeliver measurable improvements in quality, cost and lead timesEnsure manufacturing processes comply with HandS and quality standardsWhat we are looking forEngineering background within manufacturing or industrial environments is essentialExperience in fabricated or engineered to order productsStrong understanding of lean manufacturing principlesHands on and practical approach to problem solvingExperience within HVAC, refrigeration, heat exchangers or sheet metal fabrication would be advantageousPlease note that no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the ..... full job details .....
