You will be responsible for the assembly of electrical and electronic systems for high-tech scientific instrumentation, working from technical drawings and wiring diagrams to complete complex assemblies. Your work will include control cabinet assembly, cable making, terminal installation, crimping and soldering, alongside the refurbishment and upgrade of existing instrumentation. The ability to work meticulously with intricate electrical assemblies is key to this role. You will also undertake electrical fault finding and may have the opportunity to travel to customer sites in the UK and overseas to support servicing, repairs and upgrades.
