Production Engineer

Production Engineer Location: Hailsham, East Sussex Full-Time Permanent A fantastic opportunity for a degree educated Mechanical Engineer is on offer in the East Sussex area for a talented Production Engineer. With at least five years experience as a Product Engineer and an interest in science, this role offers career progression opportunities with our innovative company. Primary Objectives The main purpose of this role will be: Assist in the NPI process and to help oversee our manufacturing processes Carry out root cause analysis and maintain the 8D/RMA system Ensure best practice and health and safety codes are followed Identify problems in the production line, troubleshooting manufacturing issues and completing various administrative tasks The main requirements as our Production Engineer accountabilities are: Leading and carrying out 8D/RMA activities while maintaining the 8D/RMA process within Engineering Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards Monitoring the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner Diagnosing problems in the production line, providing recommendations and training to eliminate any issues Liaising with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labour content Establishing safety procedures and protocols that take the workers'' well-being into account, and ..... full job details .....
