      <description>Location: Enfield Town | Salary: &amp;pound;44000 - &amp;pound;48000/annum | Type: Permanent | We are working with a leading electromechanical engineering and manufacturing business to recruit a Production Engineer to join their growing engineering team.  This is a hands-on role focused on improving manufacturing processes, supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and ensuring production operates efficiently, safely and to the highest quality standards.  The Production Engineer will act as a key link between Design, R&amp;D and Manufacturing, helping to take new products from development through to production while continually improving existing processes.   The Role   You will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing team with the processes, tooling and documentation required to meet production targets.  Key responsibilities will include:    Developing, implementing and optimising manufacturing processes.   Creating and maintaining Work Instructions, Operating Procedures and Test Specifications.   Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) from pilot builds through to full-scale production.   Working closely with Design and R&amp;D teams on Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
