PRODUCTION ENGINEER / PRODUCTION SUPPORT ENGINEER Location: ChichesterSalary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOEHours: 40 - 4 day week Mon- ThursdayJob Type: Permanent About the Role We are looking for a hands-on Production Engineer / Production Support Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to production, solving practical engineering problems and improving the way products are manufactured. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing standardised processes, supporting production teams and driving continuous improvement across the business. Working closely with the Engineering Manager and production teams, you will help ensure complex builds are properly planned, production processes are efficient and repeatable, and the right tools and documentation are in place to support high-quality manufacture. Key Responsibilities Create, implement and manage Standard Work processes and documentation within production. Provide day-to-day engineering and tooling support to the production team. Act as a key driver of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement, encouraging and supporting others to adopt Lean principles. Work closely with the Engineering Manager to look ahead at complex builds and identify potential challenges and solutions before production begins.
