Based in Bolton, this well-established company is a specialist in manufacturing, offering both standard and bespoke solutions to a diverse client base. As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for engineering and production activities, ensuring that all products meet required specifications. Working closely with the Engineering and Production teams, you will provide technical expertise, costing support, for production tooling and jigs, and contribute to new product development. Salary £36,000 -£45,000 dependant on experience. Production Engineer Responsibilities: Read and interpret technical drawings for part manufacturing. Ensure correct machine setup and verify programs used by operators, checking of tolerances and machine functions. Operate a variety of machinery and equipment, following safe practices for machining including milling, turning, sawing, punching, drilling and assembly operations.
