Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an SMT Production Engineer to join their successful manufacturing team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous Surface Mount Technology (SMT) experience who enjoys improving manufacturing processes, increasing productivity and working with the latest electronic manufacturing equipment.The RoleReporting to the Production Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the SMT production department, ensuring manufacturing processes operate efficiently whilst maintaining high quality standards.Your responsibilities will include:Supporting the day-to-day operation of the SMT production lines.Monitoring machine performance and identifying opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.Analysing production data and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.Assisting with the introduction of new products into manufacture, ensuring they are suitable for production.Working closely with Production and Design teams to improve manufacturing processes.Programming SMT machinery and producing clear operating procedures and work instructions.Monitoring process performance and quality data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.Supporting preventative maintenance ..... full job details .....
