Production EngineerPrecision Manufacturing IndustryLeicester LE8Up to £45k per annumAnnual Bonus, Holiday and PensionAbout the Role We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or Process Engineer to support the manufacture of high-quality products by translating customer requirements into efficient, cost-effective, and repeatable production processes. This is a varied role that combines engineering, production support, quality documentation, tooling design, and continuous improvement. Working closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Customer Service, and external suppliers, you will play a key role in ensuring customer requirements are successfully converted into robust manufacturing processes and documentation.Commutable from Leicester, Rugby, Coventry, Corby, Market Harborough, Kettering, Corby and Nuneaton. Key Responsibilities: Production Engineer Customer Order and Engineering Support Review customer orders, clarify technical requirements and support New Order Review meetings to ensure projects are accurately defined and ready for production. Engineering Data and ERP Management Create and maintain item numbers, BOMs, manufacturing routings, product drawings and accurate costing information within the ERP/MRP system. Tooling and Manufacturing Support Design and develop tooling, jigs, fixtures and packaging solutions, while providing day-to-day engineering support to the manufacturing team.
