      <description>Location: Abingdon | Salary: &amp;pound;33000 - &amp;pound;35000/annum | Type: Permanent | Our prestigous client based near Abingdon, who work in the Medical sector are looking for a Production engineer to join their growing team.  The main focus of the role is o facilitate the manufacturing of high quality existing and new products through the provision of engineering support services. To assist in the definition and enhancement of manufacturing processes. To create, update and maintain drawings / models for new and released products.   Main Tasks:    Production Engineering  Create / update CAD drawings for parts &amp; assemblies.  Creating change requests with the associated required paperwork and drawings  Finding replacement parts for obsolete items.  Reviewing / updating device master records.  Reviewing / updating device history records.  Liaise with the New Product Development department during the product development phase ensuring design for manufacture, assembly &amp; test principals are followed. Support new product introduction activities.  Ensure QMS requirements for USA FDA, ISO 13485 and MDD / MDR are met.
