Role: Production EngineerSalary: 35K to 45K DOEHours: Monday to Thursday 37.5 hours per weekWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Engineer to oversee key aspects of fabrication, supply chain coordination, and project delivery. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in welding and fabrication, now expanding into engineering management and operational planning. You''ll play a pivotal role in ensuring production efficiency, documentation accuracy, and seamless client handovers. This is a temporary to permanent role after a ''probationary'' period of 18 weeks.Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with galvanizers and coatings suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance. Client Documentation: Manage and compile handover packs, ensuring all client-facing documentation is complete and accurate. Transport Coordination: Collate transport documentation and liaise with logistics teams to schedule dispatches. Fabrication Liaison: Communicate with the fabrication team to track outgoing work and ensure alignment with project timelines. Technical Queries (TQs): Control and resolve TQs, ensuring technical clarity and compliance across teams. Project Planning: Collaborate with the planning engineer to update programmes and schedules, ensuring project milestones are met.
