Production Engineer

Jackson Hogg are supporting a leading advanced manufacturing business with the appointment of a Production Engineer to join their established engineering team in Hitchin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with a strong electronics manufacturing background to play a key role in supporting production, introducing new products into manufacture, and driving continuous improvement across a highly regulated, quality-focused environment. The successful candidate will work closely with manufacturing, quality and supply chain teams, taking ownership of process improvements, resolving production issues, and helping ensure the business continues to deliver high-quality products efficiently and safely. The Opportunity As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations while identifying opportunities to improve processes, product quality and production efficiency. You will be heavily involved in troubleshooting recurring manufacturing issues, supporting root cause investigations, introducing new products and processes into production, and ensuring manufacturing documentation remains accurate and compliant.
