Overview

Production Engineer – Hedge Fund (£90k-£100k + bonus).This role is with Vertus Partners and the salary range is indicative; your final pay will be based on skills and experience. The client is a reputable Hedge Fund in London seeking a Production Engineer to join a team supporting the trading business and its product suite used by internal and external users.Responsibilities

Provide technical support for a real-time trading system and related applications, ensuring systems run smoothly and users receive high-quality support.Automate toil reduction and improve reliability by writing code to automate release, monitoring, and recovery processes.Contribute to automation and tools for deployment, health checks, alerts, and runbooks.Support a suite of global applications with exposure to development, testing, and deployment.Qualifications

Technical Support experience on a real-time trading system.Experience with Linux, Windows, Docker, and AWS.Automation/CI/CD: Git, TeamCity, Ansible.Database technologies: SQL Server and Snowflake (advantageous).Additional details
