Peterborough Salary - Circa 50k Monday - Friday daysYour new role:An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Engineer to join an established technology and engineering business producing complex electronic products for customers worldwide.This position would suit someone with a strong background in electronics manufacturing, production engineering and New Product Introduction (NPI) who enjoys working closely with both Engineering and Production teams.As Production Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring products can be manufactured and tested effectively, while supporting the introduction of new products and improving existing manufacturing processes.Key Responsibilities and Duties:Leading the introduction of new products into production, working closely with Product Engineering, Production and Supply Chain.Supporting product development to ensure manufacturability and testability.Contributing to the design and development of production test systems.Identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, efficiencies and product quality.Leading continuous improvement initiatives within production.Supporting and maintaining existing manufacturing processes and production test equipment.Working with manufacturing subcontractors to ensure their production and testing processes align with internal requirements.Providing technical support across Engineering and Production.This is just a summed-up list, and other duties will be required.Skills ..... full job details .....
