Our client based in Woking are seeking a Production Engineer to play a key role in developing innovative products for the business. The successful candidate will be involved in the complete product development lifecycle, ensuring products meet high-quality standards and align with customer and market requirements.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Create 2D and 3D CAD models for new products
• Use 3D printing for prototyping to validate and refine designs.
• Produce manufacturing drawings and create products on the system
• Work closely with teams across the business including manufacturing, marketing, and compliance
• Working towards project deadlines
• Liaise with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
• Work with marketing to establish unique selling points and benefits for each product.
• Redesign existing products to enhance performance and ensure compliance
• Implement cost-effective solutions while maintaining product quality
• Produce technical data sheets, manufacturing drawings and design documentation

Requirements:

• Relevant degree in Engineering, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Strong written English skills
• Experience in a manufacturing role would be advantageous
• CAD software experience would be ideal
• Strong problem-solving skills
