The Role

We''re looking for a Production Technician to join a growing technical manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you''ll be involved in the assembly, testing and preparation of specialist products, ensuring that every item meets the required quality standards before being distributed to customers.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is practical, detail-oriented and technically minded, with an interest in developing their skills within a structured and collaborative manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and electronic assemblies to required specifications
• Carry out soldering and other basic electrical assembly tasks
• Work closely with colleagues across the production process to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
• Complete and maintain accurate production records and test results
• Carry out basic testing and quality checks on completed products
• Prepare and pack finished products for distribution
• Use a range of hand tools, equipment and production aids
• Follow established processes, procedures and health & safety requirements

The Candidate

• Has a good eye for detail and takes pride in producing high-quality work
• Has previous experience with soldering, electrical assembly or similar practical work - or is keen to learn
• Is comfortable using computers, including email and basic Excel
• Has good communication skills and works well as part of a team
• Can work effectively on repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Is practical, reliable and keen to develop their technical skills
• Has an interest in engineering, manufacturing or technical production
