Production Engineer

Aerospace Production Engineer Location: West YorkshireDuration: 6-12 monthsRate: £40-£50ph DOEStart: ASAP We''re looking for an experienced Aerospace Production Engineer to join a manufacturing business in West Yorkshire on an initial 6-12 month contract. This is a hands-on role for someone who can hit the ground running within a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment, supporting NPI, production engineering and the introduction of new manufacturing cells and layouts. Key requirements Proven aerospace engineering experience Hands-on experience working to AS9100 or an equivalent aerospace quality standard - essential Strong knowledge of aerospace regulations, quality systems and engineering documentation Experience with NPI, production readiness and setting up new cells/layouts Strong understanding of PFD, PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, FAIR and APQP Experience with manufacturing processes such as stainless steel forming, spot welding, riveting or similar Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and GDandT Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement skills Experience working cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Design Engineering and Planning Degree qualified in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline If you have strong aerospace production engineering experience, AS9100 knowledge and can immediately take ownership of NPI, process improvement and manufacturing cell setup, we''d like to hear from you. ..... full job details .....
