Based at their Rochdale headquarters, they are continuing to expand their team.The RoleThis is an opportunity for a Production Engineer to implement lean manufacturing processes across the factory and other areas of the business. You will identify waste, assess production processes and lead improvement projects from start to finish. The role combines hands-on work with IT-based tasks, including creating and updating documentation. You will also work closely with the SHEQ department to coordinate and implement safety, health, environmental and quality standards.Key Responsibilities Implementing lean methodologies throughout the factory and ensuring their continued useIdentifying production processes for improvement and managing projects through to completionProviding internal lean trainingManaging and maintaining documentationAssisting the production department to ensure parts and bills of materials (BOMs) are accurateProviding an interface between the design department and the shop floorLiaising with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure products are supplied correctlyConducting supplier and subcontractor audits alongside the SHEQ departmentMaintaining accurate information on the ERP systemWorking to tight deadlines ..... full job details .....
