Production Engineer

At Beagle Aircraft, we manufacture precision-engineered components and assemblies for some of the world''s leading aerospace programmes. We''re looking for an experienced Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer to join our Engineering team in Christchurch, supporting and improving the manufacture of aerospace components and assemblies. We''re particularly interested in someone with an aerospace manufacturing background, practical knowledge of sheet metal and/or fitting/assembly, and experience maintaining ERP/MRP routings and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Please note this is a Fixed Term Contract for 4months but for the right individual they may be scope for a permanent role The Role Working closely with Production, Planning and Quality, you''ll provide hands-on engineering support to the shop floor while developing and improving the processes used to manufacture our products. You''ll take ownership of manufacturing methods, routings, BOMs, operation timings and production documentation, while helping resolve production issues and support New Product Introduction. This is a role for someone who understands how aerospace components are actually manufactured and can turn engineering requirements into practical, efficient production processes.
