Job Purpose: A key role within the business managing the whole production process, making sure everything runs smoothly and effectively. Making key improvements to manufacturing processes throughout the business. Full responsibility for a number of manufacturing processes within the business including: CNC Routing, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Welding, Powder Coating and Electrical Assembly. Key Duties: Ownership/Continuous improvement of existing machines/processes. Selection of new assembly processes/techniques. Specification/Development of new equipment/tooling. Defining new and existing production procedures, finding ways to reduce costs and maximise efficiency while maintaining product quality. Train staff in new and existing processes. Collaborate with design engineers and management in developing new manufacturing processes and technologies.
