The Role

You''ll be responsible for leading production operations across multiple live developments, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest possible standards.

You''ll provide strategic leadership to Contracts Managers and site teams, driving operational performance while maintaining exceptional quality, customer satisfaction and health & safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of multiple residential developments across the region.
• Provide leadership and support to Contracts Managers and site management teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to exceptional quality standards.
• Drive a positive health & safety culture across all developments.
• Monitor programme performance, buildability and operational efficiency.
• Identify and manage project risks while implementing practical solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, local authorities and supply chain partners.
• Support pre-construction activities, value engineering and future business opportunities.
• Champion sustainability, quality and continuous improvement throughout the construction process.
• Mentor and develop regional production teams, creating a high-performance culture.

About You

We''re keen to speak with experienced Production Directors or Senior Operational Leaders who can demonstrate:

• A proven track record delivering large-scale residential developments valued at £40m+.
• Extensive experience within the house building sector, ideally working for a national house builder or regional developer.
• Strong leadership experience managing multiple Contracts Managers and site teams.
• Excellent knowledge of UK construction practices and current Health & Safety legislation.
• Experience working with Local Authorities and Housing Associations.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance quality, programme and cost.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• SMSTS, First Aid and NEBOSH qualifications.
• Experience using ASTA Powerproject would be advantageous.
