Production CoordinatorLocation: ShipleySalary: £34,000 per annumFlexible working hours (Mon - Fri)We''re recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering and manufacturing business seeking a Production Coordinator to join its operations team.This is a fast-paced, hands-on role, ideal for someone with a background in production planning, production control or manufacturing coordination who enjoys problem-solving and keeping production moving. You''ll work closely with Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing to ensure customer orders are delivered on time and production issues are resolved quickly.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate production work orders and maintain production schedules.Attend daily production, quality and cross-functional planning meetings.Check material availability against customer orders and production requirements.Monitor supply issues and work with Purchasing to source alternative solutions where required.Update ERP systems with production status, material availability and Bill of Materials (BOM) changes.Manage engineering and technical changes, ensuring updates are driven through the system.Liaise with Sales regarding changing customer priorities, urgent orders and cancellations.Resolve day-to-day production issues, including missing parts, stock shortages and schedule changes.Monitor machinery contracts and ensure materials are available for planned builds.Produce planning reports and maintain accurate production data.Support ..... full job details .....
