Production Controller (Machining)

We are a market leader in supplying Nickel Based Super Alloy and Stainless Steel forgings and bar globally to the Oil & Gas, Energy and wider engineering industries.

We are currently recruiting for a Production Controller (Machining) within our busy Production department.

Key Tasks

• Working with the Operations Management team to control the subcontract machining -process.
• Overseeing deadlines and ensuring work is effectively prioritised.
• Meeting regularly with management to discuss performance and workloads.
• Planning ahead to ensure adequate resources are available in order to maintain standards and deadlines.
• Handling production schedules / timelines and overseeing the work to list.

Desirable Criteria

• Machining knowledge advantageous.
• Understanding of technical drawings and tolerances.
• Eager to develop new skills.
• Good communicator and ability to motivate.
• Experience of working in a factory environment.
