Job Description:Production Housekeeping OperativeLocation: ChaddertonHours: Full-Time Monday-Friday 10:00am-6:00pmSalary: 12.71 per hourOur client, a well-established manufacturing business based in Chadderton, is looking for a reliable and proactive Production Housekeeping Operative to join their team. This is a hands-on role supporting the cleanliness, organisation, and efficiency of a busy production environment.You will play an important part in maintaining high housekeeping standards across the site while supporting production teams where required.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the production areaCarry out daily sweeping and cleaning of corridors, stairs, and workspacesEmpty waste bins and ensure correct segregation of recyclable waste streamsOperate the waste baling machine and move/store bales safelyUse the ride-on/driven floor cleaning machine and maintain usage recordsSupport production teams with general duties when requiredEnsure cleaning equipment is well maintained and stored correctlyComplete weekly cleaning checklists and ad hoc housekeeping tasksFollow all Health and Safety procedures and company policies at all timesSkills and ExperiencePrevious experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment preferredFlexible, dependable, and able to work independentlyGood communication skills and a positive attitudeProactive and self-motivated approach to workComfortable carrying out physical housekeeping duties in a busy ..... full job details .....
