Production Assembly Technician

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production Assembly Technician on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturer based in Bishops Stortford.This role is primarily hands-on mechanical assembly, working with tubing, pipework and components to build complete units to a high standard. The position also involves basic electrical assembly, including crimping and wire preparation, but does not require advanced electrical fault-finding or diagnostics.This role is also working with tubing and pipework to build complete units to a high standard. Candidates from a plumbing / pipefitting / pipework assembly background would also be encouraged to apply, as the build involves similar practical skills and attention to detail.This opportunity would suit someone from an assembly, production, manufacturing or mechanical build background who enjoys detailed, methodical work in a clean and structured environment.Key Responsibilities:Assembly of medical equipment units using mechanical components, tubing and pipeworkCarrying out basic electrical tasks, including crimping.Following assembly instructions, exploded diagrams and technical drawingsUse of hand tools and some powered hand toolsEnsuring all assemblies meet quality and build standardsWorking collaboratively with the wider production teamMaintaining a clean, safe and organised work areaCompleting all tasks accurately and within production timeframesUndertaking any other reasonable duties as requiredExperience, ..... full job details .....
