The below job description will outline this position of: Production / Assembly Operative Typically, this person will be a hands-on and reliable individual responsible for the build, testing and inspection of sub-assemblies within a busy manufacturing environment. This is a very manual role, requiring the successful candidate to be on their feet for approximately 8 hours per day, regularly lifting, moving and handling materials and components. Duties and responsibilities of the Production / Assembly Operative will be: - Assist in the manufacture and assembly of sub-assemblies as directed by the Cell Leader / Logistics Manager- Carry out assembly duties in a timely and organised manner in line with production schedules- Build, test and inspect sub-assemblies to the required quality standards- Follow work instructions, procedures and production requirements accurately- Assist in other areas of the manufacturing process when required- Use conventional workshop power tools and hand tools safely and effectively- Maintain a clean and tidy workstation, including tools, equipment and PPE- Ensure all work is completed to a high ..... full job details .....
