Production Assembly Operative

Abatec are currently recruiting for a Production Assembly Operative for a well-established company operating in the remanufacturing sector based in Weston-super-Mare. The company is known for producing high-quality, reliable products, supporting both trade and retail customers. This Production Assembly Operative is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with experience or a strong interest in engineering, assembly, or manufacturing. You will play a key part in the production process, assembling components, working from technical drawings, and maintaining high quality standards throughout all stages of production. What''s in it for you? Full time role Monday - Friday, 3-day weekend every 2 weeks! No weekends! Pay from 14 per hour - 16 per hour Weekly pay, every Friday Overtime available for additional earnings Key Responsibilities of Production Assembly Operative: Carry out assembly using technical and engineering drawings Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently Follow work instructions and production schedules Perform inspection, testing, and quality control tasks Adhere to all health and safety procedures in a workshop environment Requirements: Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or engineering setting Previous experience working as a Mechanical Assembly or Production Operative Ability to read and work from technical drawings Skilled in the use of basic hand and power tools Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship ..... full job details .....
