Production and Operations Manager

ClactonSalary - Negotiable DOE Monday-Friday days 37.5 hours per weekYour new role:Based in Clacton, you will be joining a well-known manufacturing company which specialises in the design and manufacture of a range of precision-based engineering parts and equipment.The Production Manager will take full responsibility for manufacturing operations across multiple production departments, leading a large team spanning press shop, assembly, moulding, die-cast, and maintenance functions.You will be responsible for ensuring the business consistently achieves its targets relating to safety, quality, cost, delivery, and productivity, while helping shape and deliver the company''s future operational strategy.Key Responsibilities and Duties:Lead and develop manufacturing teams to achieve production, quality, and delivery objectives. Take full accountability for health and safety, customer quality, operational costs, and on-time delivery performance. Drive a culture of continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing principles and best practice methodologies. Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that support business growth and operational excellence.
