Production and Assembly Operative required for a well-established machinery manufacturer based in Basingstoke, who due to continued success are seeking an enthusiastic Production and Assembly Operative to join their team. Production and Assembly Operative Job Overview Assembly and packing of machineryCarrying out conditioning and cleaning of machinery partsMaintaining the quality of machines during assembly.Carrying out quality checks on machines once assembled.Assembly of spare parts and stock items.Assist with quality and customer factory acceptance checks when required.Assist the test/demo department when required.Maintain a clean and organised workspace compliant with safety regulations. Production and Assembly Operative Job Requirements Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment with good assembly practices knowledge.Based in a commutable distance of BasingstokeAble to read and understand engineering drawings.Good computer skills (Microsoft Office)Be able to work on your own initiative and be part of a team.Good time keeping and physically fit for lifting up to 20kg.Willing to travel occasionally to customer sites.Full current driving license.
