Product Support Technician

Production Support Technician Tewkesbury - Permanent - Full Time - up to £46,000 Our client, a specialist precision engineering manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Production Support Technician to provide hands-on technical engineering support across machining and production. This role sits between Engineering and Operations, supporting machinists, solving production issues, improving processes and ensuring engineering requirements are correctly implemented throughout manufacture. The role: Provide hands-on technical engineering support to CNC machining and production teams Support the introduction of new and existing products into manufacture Identify and resolve engineering issues before and during production Provide technical leadership, coaching and support to machinists Improve machining processes to increase efficiency and machine utilisation Support CNC programming and programme optimisation Use CAD/CAM systems to support production requirements Review tooling, manufacturing methods and machining processes Carry out gap analysis and support accurate ERP system updates Apply structured problem-solving and continuous-improvement techniques Support non-conformance processes and raise NCRs where required Work closely with Production, Operations and Planning to resolve bottlenecks Support familiarisation and technical training where required The Person: Strong technical engineering background within a precision machining environment Extensive knowledge of CNC ..... full job details .....
