Product Safety EngineerLocation: Cambridge Salary: £40,000-£45,000 37.5 hours per week Monday-FridayA great opportunity has arisen for a Product Safety Engineer to join a busy and collaborative Engineering function based in Cambridge. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with technical standards, product approvals and cross-functional teams, and who wants to contribute to the development of high-quality engineered products used across global markets.Role OverviewYou will take the lead on all product safety approval activities across the business. This includes maintaining a global product certification database, managing new and existing approvals, and ensuring all products meet relevant international standards. You will act as a key technical contact for internal teams and customers, supporting both new product development and ongoing compliance requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update the global product certification databaseManage new product certifications and associated documentationKeep up to date with relevant industry and international standardsLiaise with production, sales, finance and marketing teams to support approval activitiesSupport sales teams with customer enquiries relating to product approvals and certificationsMaintain and improve the Product Safety Business ProcedureProvide technical input into new product developmentShare third-party approval knowledge with the wider Engineering teamContribute to continuous improvement ..... full job details .....
