Product Quality Engineer - LincolnThe OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product Quality Engineer to join a fast-growing business supplying the furniture sector with market leading products.This is a newly created role responsible for maintaining and improving the technical quality of the company''s product portfolio. Working across product quality, supplier quality and new product development, you will ensure products meet the required standards from initial design through to manufacture and customer use.You will play a key role in reviewing product specifications, resolving quality issues, managing supplier corrective actions and supporting the development of new products. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with physical products, solving technical problems and improving processes.Working closely with Procurement, NPD, Sales and Operations, you will become a key technical point of contact, helping to protect product quality and drive continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesNew Product Development SupportReview technical drawings and CAD files to identify potential design, manufacturing or quality risks.Assess product designs for manufacturability and suitability before supplier release.Support the approval process for prototypes, samples and pre-production units.Conduct product inspections, checking dimensions, fit, functionality, finish and compliance against specifications.Support product testing activities, including external ..... full job details .....
