The Experience required for this role: 10+ years'' Software Engineering experience within aerospace, defence, or another regulated industry. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or similar. Proven experience leading Software Engineering delivery, Product Ownership, or Software Factory environments. Strong knowledge of SDLC, software architecture, integration, verification & validation, configuration management, and requirements traceability. Experience delivering software to DO-178C and other safety-critical standards. Understanding of Digital Engineering, Model-Based Engineering (MBE), Digital Thread, and Digital Continuity. Experience with Software Factory toolchains, CI/CD, secure code management, and configuration baselines. Strong stakeholder management skills with experience coordinating delivery across engineering, IT, manufacturing, and supplier teams.
