Overview

Product Owner - Client Onboarding and Regulatory Services - Vice President role at Morgan Stanley. Responsible for the consistent and effective deployment of transformational initiatives through agile project management and UAT oversight activities within the Operations division.In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is a Team Specialist position at Director level within the Change Analytics and Strategy team.What Youll Do In The Role

Guide a squad to deliver system and functional changes in a timely and efficient manner, in line with the team strategy.Develop and maintain plans that include the end-state vision, strategic and tactical initiatives, and product backlogs.Lead initiatives across platforms as a Program Manager, leveraging expertise in reference data and data governance to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.Manage sprints from idea creation through deployment, including identifying client needs, designing and validating concepts, developing epics and user stories, and managing to a budget.Develop comprehensive user stories documentation and lead overall execution with Technology and Testing partners.Participate in requirements elaboration and design sessions with Operations and technology partners; socialize requirements with stakeholders and escalate issues as needed.Ensure complete and accurate documentation of processes and procedures related to the changes delivered by the squad.Build relationships and gain consensus with key partners and clients.Develop and deliver effective presentations to senior management, product teams, and project teams.Develop metrics to measure KPIs, usage patterns, and other relevant analytics.What Youll Bring To The Role

Front-to-back knowledge of the processes, projects, systems, markets and instruments that influence their team with a comprehensive understanding of job-related operational/compliance policies and procedures.Ability to lead initiatives across cross-functional teams leveraging expertise in client reference data and data governance.Ability to think commercially, understand the impact of initiatives and risks on the operational budget.Ability to address non-standard issues within area of expertise.Culture carrier and role model, representing and leading the Firm\''s core values to influence and motivate those around you.Experience of managing projects, or exposure to the end-to-end project lifecycle, or managing substantial parts of the project lifecycle.Knowledge and experience of working within a structured project management framework.At least 6 years\'' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.Certification either as a Product Owner or Scrum Master.What You Can Expect From Morgan Stanley
