Product Manager

Product Manager Location- Hybrid working with on-site attendance in Leeds or Newcastle approximately 1-2 days per monthSecurity Clearance- Must be eligible for BPSS 3 Month contract- Likely to be extended £480 a day inside IR35 We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the delivery of digital products within a government-focused environment. You will be responsible for defining product vision, prioritising delivery, and ensuring outcomes align with user needs and organisational goals.Experience working within UK central government departments is highly desirable.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmapWork closely with multidisciplinary teams (engineering, design, delivery)Prioritise product backlogs using data, user research, and policy requirementsEnsure products meet GDS (Government Digital Service) standardsEngage with stakeholders across government to align prioritiesTranslate complex policy or operational requirements into clear product outcomesMonitor product performance and continuously iterate for improvementSupport agile ceremonies and foster a user-centred design approachEssential Skills and ExperienceProven experience as a Product Manager in agile environmentsStrong understanding of digital delivery in the public sectorExperience working with user research and data-driven decision makingAbility to manage stakeholders at multiple levelsFamiliarity with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologiesExcellent communication ..... full job details .....
