Seeking an experienced Product Manager / Technical Specialist with a strong background in finance, investment, or banking systems to lead a 6-month program focused on streamlining ways of working. The ideal candidate will combine product-led thinking with technical fluency and in-depth domain expertise in the investment sector, ensuring strategic alignment between business needs, technology capabilities, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product vision and roadmap for investment-related systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with stakeholders across investment, operations, technology, and compliance to define priorities and success measures.
- Conduct a current-state assessment of systems, processes, and workflows, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for automation and simplification.
- Lead process redesign initiatives to streamline ways of working, improve data quality, and enhance user experience.
- Translate business requirements into clear, actionable product specifications and technical requirements.
- Work closely with engineering and data teams to deliver enhancements, integrations, and upgrades to investment platforms.
- Oversee change management activities, including training, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Measure and report on the success of changes, iterating as needed to maximise value delivery.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven track record as a Product Manager or equivalent leadership role in the investment, asset management, or banking sector.
- Strong understanding of investment products, portfolio management systems, trading platforms, and regulatory considerations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead product development and improvement programs with a product-led mindset.
- Technical fluency with experience in system integrations, data management, and workflow automation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to bridge the gap between technical teams and business leadership.
- Experience delivering change in complex, regulated environments.
