Product Manager

Location: Remote-first (with quarterly in-person team meet-ups)
Contract Type: Inside IR35
Day Rate: Up to -440 per day

We are currently seeking an experienced Product Manager to join a high-profile Live Services team within a major central government programme. This is a critical role focused on ensuring service continuity and stability during a key transitional period.

The successful candidate will be stepping into a well-established environment, taking over from a highly respected incumbent. As such, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate immediate credibility, leadership and the ability to build trust quickly across a complex stakeholder landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead product ownership activities including backlog management, incident response, and change impact assessments.
• Ensure continuity of service and uphold high standards during a sensitive handover period.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to maintain service performance and user satisfaction.

Essential Experience:

• Extensive experience working within central government digital environments.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Previous experience working with HMRC and GDS delivery standards is essential.
