Product Lead - Defence Operations Equipment Team

Our client, a prominent player in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking a Product Lead for the Systems Operations Equipment Team. This permanent position will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Systems products, spearheading innovative proposals for architectural solutions across a diverse product range. Key Responsibilities:Own the definition and delivery of product strategiesInfluence future project roadmaps, policies, and technical standardsEnsure compliance with wider Generic Systems Architecture (GMA/GSA) strategiesEnsure products remain cost effective, deliverable, and meet capability requirements of future customersLead and shape new proposals for architectural solutions to the point of acceptance by the Project and Delivery TeamInfluence programmes and future projects to adopt the product line approach to developmentCollaborate with stakeholders both in the UK and internationallyDevelop and maintain strong relationships with academia, SMEs, and potential suppliersJob Requirements:Experience in the design and development of electronics, preferably in the defence industry with knowledge of the product sectorAbility to understand technology and its potential usesStrategic thinker with strong influencing skills across peer groups and into senior managementDemonstrated experience of defining product strategies and roadmapsAbility to shape new proposals for architectural solutions to acceptanceClear and concise engineering documentation writing ..... full job details .....
