Overview

Product / Fund Controller for a new credit hedge fund launch. The role covers fund accounting, valuations, and product control responsibilities. The hire will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with the C-suite and will help drive the growth of the firm. The role is hands-on and involves leading communication with fund administrators, auditors, prime brokers, and other external parties. As the fund scales, the finance and accounting structure will become more complex and the role will evolve with the team.Responsibilities

Manage fund accounting tasks including reviewing fees, overseeing corporate actions, managing the fund’s audit, delivering year-end financial statements, reviewing NAV, and investor reporting.Support corporate accounting as part of a broader finance function.Lead communications with fund administrators, auditors, prime brokers, and other external parties in an outsourced model.Participate in systems build-out and process improvements to support firm growth.Collaborate with the C-suite and contribute to the development of a scalable finance organization.Qualifications

Qualified ACA, CFA, or equivalent.Experience in-house hedge fund accounting or as a product controller within an investment bank.Strong academics, exceptional communication skills, proactive attitude, and ambition to grow with the business.Compensation

Competitive base salary with Year 1 bonus expected to exceed 50%.Location
