Product Development Assistant

ABOUT THE ROLE Are you highly organised, detail-oriented and looking to build your career in product development within a fast-paced consumer products business? We''re recruiting on behalf of a successful importer and distributor of consumer products, supplying major retailers across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy Buying team, supporting the development of new products from initial concept through to launch. You''ll play a key role in ensuring product information is accurate, projects stay on track and suppliers are supported throughout the product development process. Key responsibilities include: Supporting the Product Developer with product administration and range planning. Maintaining pricing information and supplier quotations to ensure commercial accuracy. Coordinating product samples throughout the development process and maintaining accurate sample records. Uploading and maintaining product information within the company''s ERP system. Liaising with overseas factories and sourcing partners to ensure projects progress to agreed timescales. Supporting the critical path to help deliver successful product launches. Reviewing supplier documentation and ensuring product information is complete and accurate. Assisting with trade show preparation, including product samples, administration and event support.
