Product Development / Applications Engineer

An established and growing technical business operating within infrastructure and specialist industrial products is seeking a hands-on Product Development / Applications Engineer to join its technical team. This is not a desk-based engineering role. The successful candidate will spend significant time working with products, equipment, customers and suppliers in real-world environments, supporting innovation and helping clients achieve optimum performance from specialist systems and technologies. Key responsibilities:Carry out practical testing, evaluation and reportingSupport product demonstrations and customer presentationsDeliver technical training and supportAssist with on-site trials and product implementationWork closely with suppliers and manufacturing partnersIdentify opportunities for product and process improvementsSupport ongoing product development projectsWe are interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following:Industrial coatings or paint systemsSpray technologies or specialist equipmentConstruction chemicalsResin-based productsRepair or reinstatement systemsIndustrial materials or related applicationsThe ideal candidate will have:Relevant engineering or technical qualificationsExperience in industrial, manufacturing, construction or contracting environmentsStrong communication and presentation skillsA practical, hands-on approachGood organisational and reporting skillsFull right to work in the UK and ability to travel within the UK and ..... full job details .....
