Product DesignerLocation: Peacehaven, near BrightonJob Type: Full-time, PermanentAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative and commercially minded Product Designer to join an established design and manufacturing business based in Peacehaven, just outside Brighton.Working as part of a collaborative team, you will focus on the design and development of innovative acoustic solutions for commercial environments, taking products from initial concept through development and prototyping to production-ready solutions.The RoleAs Product Designer, you will be involved throughout the complete product development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:Researching market trends and contributing to product strategyDeveloping and presenting creative design conceptsPlanning, managing and documenting design and development activitiesProducing high-quality design proposals, visuals and presentationsSupporting product development and creating prototypesObtaining costings and preparing product estimatesCreating accurate 3D CAD modelsProducing detailed technical drawings and specification documentationSupporting the successful introduction of new products into productionAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:A minimum of 2 years'' relevant industry experienceA strong background in product design and developmentProficiency in SolidWorksExcellent visualisation and presentation skills using KeyShot, Adobe Creative Suite or equivalentStrong knowledge of ..... full job details .....
