Product Design Engineer

JOB - Product Design Engineer LOCATION - Basingstoke, Hampshire TERM - Permanent SALARY - £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience) My client is an innovative engineering and manufacturing business. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an Engineer to join their technical team at their Basingstoke headquarters. Working directly under the Technical Director, this is an excellent opportunity for an engineer to be involved with product development and seeing projects through from concept to completion. The role offers genuine development opportunities, including CAD training and involvement in exciting new product development projects. The Engineer will ideally have: HND, Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Product Design or a related Engineering discipline At least 1-3+ years experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement practical engineering solutions Experience creating or working with Bills of Materials (BOMs) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with customers and internal departments CAD experience would be highly advantageous Experience with product development, production engineering or design engineering would be beneficial A proactive ..... full job details .....
