Mechanical Design Engineer - Technical Compliance Mechanical / Mechatronics Background - Hitchin £40,000 - £50,000 + Benefits We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer - Product Compliance Engineer to join a successful and growing engineering business. Working closely with the Mechanical Design team, you will play a key role in ensuring products are designed, documented and certified in accordance with relevant UK and international standards. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Compliance Engineer or a Mechanical Design Engineer who has developed an interest in product compliance, certification and technical documentation. The company designs and manufactures high-quality electromechanical products and has built an excellent reputation for engineering excellence, innovation and product quality. The Role Working as part of the engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting product compliance activities throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring products meet the required regulatory, certification and documentation requirements. Responsibilities will include: Supporting product compliance and certification activities Preparing, reviewing and maintaining technical documentation and technical files Supporting CE Marking and UKCA compliance activities Conducting risk assessments and supporting DFMEA activities Reviewing engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs) and design documentation to ensure compliance requirements have been ..... full job details .....
