Product and Process Development Engineer

At Saint-Gobain Glass we''re looking for a Product and Process Development Engineer to work in our Technical Team to support our department with manufacturing product introduction, manufacturing trials, and the ongoing delivery of product improvement, product quality, and product or process optimisation.This Product and Process Development Engineer will be a part of the Technical Team. You''ll play a key role in product development within our manufacturing operation. Our central RandD teams supply us with the product recipes - your role will be to deliver the introduction to manufacturing and then in production product optimisation as part of a technical team through the application of recipe development, factory line trials, and product introduction activities giving consideration to manufacturing processes, product quality concerns, and the impact of physical equipment usedSaint-Gobain Glass is one of 30 Saint-Gobain brands. Our site in Eggborough is part of a business with a 350-year heritage in flat glass manufacturing. We''ve invested heavily into our Eggborough facility in recent years including 20m in a new furnace, securing the site for the next 20 years.
