About the Role

This contract role as Procurement Specialist SAP sits with Expert Employment in Stroud. The post holder oversees material planning, scheduling and buying of precision machined parts against bills of materials and customer demand. Duties cover tracking purchase orders through to delivery, expediting where needed, resolving discrepancies and helping accounts with invoice queries. The successful applicant coordinates domestic and international logistics, keeps precise records of import and export movements, handles Customs enquiries and assists finance with Postponed VAT Accounting. An engineering or production background is preferred, alongside familiarity with SAP systems. Working pattern is full time, with a rate of 15 to 16 per hour.

Supply Chain Supervisor
The ideal candidate for the Supply Chain Supervisor will ideally come from an Engineering and Production background and have a working knowledge of procurement precision machined components and coordination of import and export activities.
Supply Chain Supervisor Responsibilities:
Responsible for material planning, scheduling and procurement in accordance with bills of materials and customer demand.
Monitor Purchase Orders through to delivery, including regular expediting, reconcile any order discrepancies, and assist accounts with invoice queries.
Coordinate all domestic and international logistics.
Maintain accurate records of import and export activities, deal with any Customs queries and support finance for Postponed VAT Accounting.
Supply Chain Supervisor Requirements:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
