About the Role

The Procurement Specialist SAP role, based in Stroud, is a contract position paying £15-16 per annum. You will oversee material planning, scheduling, and purchasing according to bills of materials and customer requirements. Responsibilities include monitoring purchase orders through to delivery, performing regular expediting, resolving order discrepancies, and assisting accounts with invoice queries. You will coordinate domestic and international logistics, maintain accurate import and export records, handle Customs queries, and support finance with Postponed VAT Accounting. A background in engineering or production, with knowledge of sourcing precision machined components, is essential. Experience with SAP systems is required for this supply chain supervisory position.

Supply Chain Supervisor
The ideal candidate for the Supply Chain Supervisor will ideally come from an Engineering and Production background and have a working knowledge of procurement precision machined components and coordination of import and export activities.
Supply Chain Supervisor Responsibilities:
Responsible for material planning, scheduling and procurement in accordance with bills of materials and customer demand.
Monitor Purchase Orders through to delivery, including regular expediting, reconcile any order discrepancies, and assist accounts with invoice queries.
Coordinate all domestic and international logistics.
Maintain accurate records of import and export activities, deal with any Customs queries and support finance for Postponed VAT Accounting.
Supply Chain Supervisor Requirements:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
