My client is a leader in their field, and you will report to the Purchasing and Operations Director. The role of the Procurement Specialist is to take responsibility for purchasing strategy, ordering materials and components, and working with vendors to ensure timely deliveries to the company’s production sites whilst maintaining stock cost control and inventory levels.   This is a full-time office based role. The duties of the Procurement Specialist will include: Ensuring stock levels are optimised against product sales, production requirements and warehouse capacity. Raising purchase orders and validate supplier invoices. Providing feedback to the wider business on pricing and changes that need to be incorporated to final product costings.
