Procurement Specialist Our client is seeking a highly driven Procurement Specialist to play a critical role in supporting new product introduction (NPI) and new product development (NPD) initiatives. This position sits at the intersection of procurement, engineering, and supply chain, ensuring that new products are launched on time, within budget, and with robust supplier strategies in place. Key ResponsibilitiesLead procurement activities for new product introduction (NPI) and new product development (NPD) projectsIdentify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers aligned with project timelines and cost targetsCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, RandD, quality, and manufacturing teamsDrive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and negotiationManage RFQs, supplier selection, and contract negotiationsEnsure supplier readiness for production, including capacity, quality, and complianceMitigate supply chain risks and develop contingency plansTrack and report procurement milestones to support project deliveryRequirementsProven experience in procurement within NPI/NPD environmentsStrong understanding of supply chain, sourcing strategies, and supplier managementExperience working with cross-functional product development teamsExcellent negotiation and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in ERP systems and procurement toolsDesirable SkillsExperience in electronics, manufacturingKnowledge of ..... full job details .....
