About the Role
Joining our team as a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying new suppliers and managing and building those relationships, ensuring supplier performance is maintained in line with agreed KPIs to maximise customer satisfaction.-
You will also be responsible for:
- Processing purchase requisitions
- Negotiation and cost control
- Input information into the management system for analysis and reporting
- Dealing with client and supplier queries
- Communicating effectively with internal departments.

Requirements
Our ideal Procurement Specialist will have:
- Technical purchasing experience with the ability to assimilate technical information
- MCIPS qualification or working towards or relevant experience
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Experience of working with minimum supervision in a busy and demanding environment
- Organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
